Hey everyone. Here is the schedule for the rest of the semester. More details will be released as each date draws near.

We do not have a meeting next week (Nov. 1 or 2).

Our next meeting is on Tuesday, November 8th. John Deere is coming in to speak with us about internships, full-time opportunists, and their part-time student program. If you haven’t found anything for after graduation or for next summer, please attend.

On Tuesday, November 15th, we welcome RSM. Members from their Security and Privacy Services practice are coming in to speak with us about social engineering. They will be going over what social engineering is and what risks organizations face. They will also be including a live demonstration of a USB attack, i.e. what happens if someone picks up a random USB drive that a hacker leaves lying around.

Following this, we will not be having a meeting during Thanksgiving week.

After break, Federated Insurance is sponsoring a MISA outing as we watch UNI take on George Mason on November 30th. Lets all the end the semester together while we root on the Panthers. A sign up sheet will be sent out a few weeks before the game so we can get an accurate count.
